Alana Helms + Trevor Burgess | Oct 14, 2017
Alana and Trevor met while working at the same grocery store. From the moment he first walked in, she noticed him right away. Trevor knew the first time he saw Alana that he knew he wanted to marry her. The two clicked and when it came time to propose, instead of it being just the two of them, he decided to include both of their families in the surprise! During a family cookout, Alana was called outside and there Trevor was, on one knee with the ring. His parents were holding " Will You" balloons and her parents were holding " Marry Me" balloons. Everyone they love was surrounding them in that special moment and Alana was so glad that Trevor wanted to include the most important people in their lives!
For their wedding, Alana and Trevor wanted a traditional wedding with a religious church ceremony. A special part of their day was the incorporation of a sand unity ceremony during the wedding ceremony as it symbolizes two people and two families becoming one. Alana and Trevor chose beige, wine, and champagne as their colors and they were perfect for an October wedding! Alana looked like a princess in her gorgeous ballgown and her girls were beautiful in their wine dresses. Trevor and his groomsmen looked so handsome in their gray tuxes which blended so well with the color palette. The reception theme was formal-rustic, complete with floating candles, romantic votives, rose petals, and rustic décor.
The gorgeous matching florals totally brought their color scheme to life and tied the whole look together. A super fun part of the day? Trevor and his family are big Green Bay fans, so everyone wore Green Bay sunglasses and danced to the song " Green and Yellow"! The entire day was so much fun and all the laughter and the love was captured by Lindsey Romo Photography. It was such a special day and the best part for Alana and Trevor was having their friends and families come together to celebrate their joyous day!
Congratulations, Alana & Trevor!
