Emily Jackson + Alan Osenga |
Emily and Alan met while attending East Carolina University and were introduced by Emily’s roommate at the start of Sophomore year. Their first real date was at a sushi restaurant where Emily was drawn to Alan’s adventurous side and she decided to give both him and sushi a try. The date was a success and was the start of a beautiful relationship for the two. Soon it was time to make things official and although Alan had planned to propose to Emily at dinner, the ring was burning a hole in his pocket and he just couldn’t wait! He proposed to Emily at their home and, in the comfort of their own kitchen, the two became engaged!
Emily and Alan were married on a gorgeous October day at Victorian Crowe’s Nest, a historic landmark in Monroe, NC. Their wedding inspiration was Old World vintage with a touch of glamour and Southern romantic flair. Known as one the South’s most elegant and romantic settings, the turn of the century Victorian estate completely brought the couple’s vision to life. Their wedding day was full of vibrant florals, bright pops of color, and glamorous details. Emily’s intricate lace dress and birdcage veil along side gorgeous jewelry from Malak Jewelers created the perfect vintage bridal look and she was the epitome of glamour and elegance. Their day was full of fun and friends, love and laughs, and one of Emily’s favorite memories of the day was watching Alan let loose and cut some serious moves on the dance floor. She’ll never forget his moves and neither will ever forget what was hands down the best day of their lives!
Congratulations, Emily and Alan!
