Steph + Jeff |
Steph and Jeff met in Manhattan at the birthday party of a mutual friend. Steph quickly spotted Jeff from across the room and marched right up to him to introduce herself; however, as luck would have it, Jeff wasn’t available at the time. A few months later, a now-available Jeff spotted Steph at a local coffee shop and the timing was finally right for the two. He got up the courage to ask her out and the rest is history!
When it came time for the couple to say, “I Do”, they knew they wanted a North Carolina rustic-chic wedding due to Jeff and most their families being from the Northeast. They fell in love with the Dairy Barn at Anne Close Springs Greenway and chose it for its big white barn and raw, natural backdrop. Steph loved the idea of being able to insert lots of greenery and wood details and wanted to go for an earthy, natural feel with a hint of southern flair. The couple’s color palate of crimson and rich greenery were the perfect dramatic compliments to the rural setting.
A meaningful part of the day for the couple was that Steph’s sister was their officiant. Under the soaring barn rafters, Steph and Jeff recited their handwritten vows and were thrilled to share the raw, emotional experience with their closest friends and family. It was an irreplaceable and unforgettable moment in their lives and one that they will cherish forever. Congratulations, Steph and Jeff!
