There are so many different choices when it comes to picking out bridesmaid’s dresses for your ladies. Do you want them to match? How formal should they be? If they don’t match how mismatch-y will they be? Hopefully these pictures will help inspire you to make a choice!

Different dresses, different colors

Steer away from tradition and go with totally different dresses in totally different colors for the bridesmaids. Pick colors that complement one another and make sure in your line up, the colors are all spread out.

Different dresses, same color family

Maybe you are feeling a little less bold, so you choose different dresses, but stick to the same color family.

Different dresses, same color

For a more traditional route, but with a twist, pick a single color but allow your bridesmaids to choose the dress. Nowadays, a lot of bridesmaid dress companies will offer a standard color that comes in tons of different dress styles to suit your ‘maids different body types.

Patterned dresses

Keep your girls uniformed with the same dress but spice it up by choosing a dress that has a pattern or design to it. We love the florals for an outdoor garden party style wedding!

Same dresses

The most traditional and classic look is to have all your girls in the same dress, same color. You can’t go wrong with that!

Long dresses

For a formal or black tie wedding, choose long dresses for your bridesmaids. Long dresses are even fine for less formal events because it is a wedding, after all!

Short dresses

If you are having a less formal or outdoor summer wedding, short dresses can be a good option.

Two pieces

A more alternative choice is to pick a skirt for your ladies, while they pick a top or better yet, are able to wear a top they already have!

Maid of honor different

If you want to give a shout out to your maid of honor, keep everyone somewhat similar in matching dresses or matching colors, and let your maid of honor wear a completely different color or our favorite, a pattern!
