Bustld: What do you think makes you different in the field of planning?

Danielle: I have extreme attention to detail. If a couple tells me something, I am going to remember and make sure it happens. Once, a bride was worried about a safety pin getting removed from her dress, so I made sure during final touches to take off the safety pin. I’m very calm under pressure. Wedding day feels like chaos, so I bring a calming-ness to the situation that my clients really respond to and makes them feel more at ease.

Bustld: How would you describe your style and target client?

Danielle: For me, I am drawn to DIY brides and those who want a hand in the planning process and are looking for someone to take over on the day and show them the way. I identify the most with them. My packages are designed to where I am giving you a roadmap for success and take it from there. I’ll lead you to where you want to go and where you want your wedding to be. My style becomes the bride’s style. Whatever they are looking for, I will become. My planning style is very thorough and detailed. I give as much information as possible, so they can make the decision. I become what they need for their day.

Bustld: Why do your clients hire you?

Danielle: I get very excited about how each client is going to make their day unique. I love to put those plans into motion and bring that to life for them. I’m always asking vision, colors, what are they looking for, etc. I care about their day as much as they do, they aren’t just a number to me. I like to share with them in their joy. My couples are looking for someone they can trust and handle the logistics and make decisions if things aren’t going according to plan. My attentiveness, thoroughness and attention to detail shows they don t have to be concerned. They can sit back, enjoy the day and make their memories.

Bustld: What is the best part of being a planner?

Danielle: Seeing the couples on their day enjoying each other and being the one that made it possible for them to just enjoy. I love to be the one to take the stress and take all that on so they can enjoy. The day goes by so fast and I want them to be able to make as many memories as possible. I want them to look back on good memories and not think about the photographer being late or whatever it may be. I like to be the one to make it easy for them to enjoy.

Bustld: What's your favorite moment on wedding day?

Danielle: Honestly, the ceremony. I love to see the couples coming down the aisle and see the joy on their faces. I love when, sometimes, grooms get emotional, it’s super sweet.

Bustld: How long have you been in business? What is your business back story? Why weddings?

Danielle: I thought about being a planner years ago but never really felt that it was the right time. After my first child I was at home and trying to think of a way to make income but still be able to be at home more. I always had a passion for weddings, I wanted to be a florist back in the day. So I thought, why not become a coordinator. I can do a lot from home. I love to organize things and love the romanticism of weddings, so why not meld them together. I got certified online last year and then launched in May last year.
