With any part of wedding planning it’s important to stay organized, whether that be with your larger wedding day vendors or smaller pieces of planning, like attire.
How can I stay on track?
Just like with all of wedding planning, you will stay the most organized if you have a planner there to help you. They will make sure things are getting done on time, not piling up and spread out over a timeline that makes sense for you.
If you are taking on planning yourself, treat it the way a planner would. Put together a planning timeline and a checklist. Decide on what your monthly goals are and the steps you need to take to get there. No detail is too small!
How can I save time?
Overall, being organized with a checklist and a timeline will help you save time in the end. It will keep fire drills to a minimum, stress to a minimum and help you get things done in a timely fashion.
To help you cut corners and eliminate some work along the way, one of the biggest tips is to reuse vendors. It will eliminate the amount of research you have to put in to finding options, allowing you to knock out two birds with one stone. For example, if your bridal shop also offers bridesmaids dresses, use them for that and plan to look while you are already there for your dress shopping appointment.
Another vendor that is easy to reuse is your invitation company. There’s a high chance that whoever you ordered your invitations from will also offer other printed paper goods, like table numbers and menu cards. It will also help keep your style and look cohesive!
