As if a wedding isn’t entertainment enough, sometimes couples are looking for something a little extra. Sure, a photo booth is a great option, but if you’re looking for something more than that, we have some options perfect for you!
Have an actual artist come in and paint a big moment of your wedding reception, like your first dance or cake cutting. This gives you such a special memory that you can actually use in your home and look back on regularly. It’s also something that is pretty special for your guests to watch happen.
This type of entertainment usually takes a little more time while guests sit there to have their picture drawn, so cocktail hour is a great time to offer this. It doubles as entertainment and a favor your guests can take home with them!
If your venue allows it, mobile bars have become such a fun accessory for wedding day. They are cute and serve a purpose –a very important purpose at that! They can enhance your bar and only serve a personalized specialty cocktail, or they can serve as the main bar if it’s accessible all night. If you know us, you know we love a good bar!
If the groom is a cigar smoker, then a live roller is a fun way to incorporate a little bit of personalization for the groom. Especially if you order some personalized labels to roll the cigars in! It’s a great cocktail hour activity or a late evening add on. You’ll want to make sure there’s a designated smoking area for the roller, though.
If you really want to up the ante on entertainment, have a performance by belly dancers. Whether it’s part of your background or not, it’s a fun experience for your guests and may even help to get your dance floor going!
Another fun way that is sure to make your dance floor full is an appearance from your favorite mascot. Whether that be your local NFL team’s mascot or your favorite college team, it’s a great way to add a personal touch and bring some fun to the party. The best time for an appearance is after dinner to kick off the dance floor.
