Aimee + Tyler | Jul 26, 2016
As a divorced mom of two, Aimee was looking for someone to simply hang out and have a good time with. While hanging out with some friends one night, one of her friend’s boyfriend decided he was going to introduce her to some of his friends.
Not thinking anything would come from that, much to her surprise, the very next night Aimee was introduced to Tyler and they have been together ever since.
After five years together, they already felt like an old married couple, so they decided to make it official.
“It was not hard for us to make the decision to elope – Tyler is an old soul and neither one us like to be the center of attention,” explained the bride. “We wanted a stress free day that was just about us, without having to worry about the other things that come along with a big wedding.”
The couple wasn’t really interested in a beach wedding so when they heard about a mountain side option, it was settled! After quite a bit of research across several states, they landed on Asheville for their elopement.
It was late July and the couple found themselves at the top of Max Patch Mountain with the most amazing views.
Aimee wore a champagne colored, form fitting lace dress that had an amazing low cut back and beautiful rhinestone accents all over. She wore her hair loosely pulled back with a bejeweled hair clip. She carried the most perfect bouquet with two bright pink peonies that popped against her bright pink lipstick.
Tyler was dressed in a nice, dark pair of jeans, charcoal grey vest and light blue linen shirt. He wore a light blue and white striped tie and finished the look with a pop of color with a yellow floral and greenery boutonniere.
The couple stood, just the two of them and their officiant in a field full of nothing but amazing views as they vowed to spend forever together.
After exchanging their vows, the couple took a short hike to soak in more amazing views and ended with a pie and champagne picnic. Sounds like the perfect kind of picnic to us!
As they shared homemade apple and peach pie, and danced with the mountains and sunset behind them, they couldn’t imagine a more perfect day – and either can we!
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
