When the wrap around porch is as gorgeous as this one, of course you create a whole styled shoot around it! The venue’s natural light and airy essence gave this group of wedding vendors the perfect canvas to work with. The dusty grays and blues, mixed with velvet, copper and marble created the perfect romantic, moody and modern feel designed by Belle Ame Events.
The ceremony was set out on the venue’s lawn with wooden Tuscan chairs and a semi-circle greenery arch to complement the lush grass and greenery already naturally set. The bride’s cascading bouquet blended right in with all of its greenery and natural cream blooms.
The natural-inspired bouquet was the cherry on top of the cake of the bride’s gorgeous look. The White One designed dress in the Paraguay style was so dreamy. The lace detailing on the top with sheer neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeve was a killer combination with the tulle train. The bride wore her hair pulled back for a super romantic vibe and topped it off with large stud earrings and a pop of berry pink on her lips.
The groom looked ultra-modern is his light gray three piece suit, marble cufflinks and dark blue velvet bow tie. The same dark blue velvet of the bride’s shoes. Dark blue velvet might be our new favorite accent!
A farm table was set on the huge wrap around porch for dinner. The same wooden Tuscan chairs for the ceremony were used at the table for a cohesive look. A blue velvet table runner was custom made for this shoot and draped across the farm table. Each place setting had brushed copper silverware, blue footed water goblets, a cream lace charger, a dusty blue dinner plate and a cream salad plate. A dusty grey napkin was knotted and set on the side of the plate for such a romantic spot to share dinner.
Another wild greenery bouquet with cream florals sat on the dinner table with copper candlestick holders on both sides with dusty blue taper candles and marble votives. To finish the table off, there were hand written copper acrylic hexagon name cards at each place setting. The whole look was flawless modern romance.
The shoot’s bride and groom – who are actually a real life engaged couple! – enjoyed one of their signature cocktails in the soft seating section that was set up after the ceremony on the lawn.
The dusty blue velvet settee and chairs made for the perfect spot for the couple to soak in their first few moments of married life with a delicious cocktail.
Imagine bourbon, fresh lemon and vanilla simple syrup topped with champagne. You had us at champagne! The drink was served in etched champagne coupe glasses and garnished with similar flowers like those from the bridal bouquet.
That cake table is some serious goals. The three-tiered blue and gold marbled cake sat atop a white pedestal stand. The stand was on top of an antique white cart and reused the custom made blue velvet runner. More copper candle holders and dusty blue tapers lined the cart. It was shot against a paneled white wall to make all the blue really pop. The greenery semi-circle from the ceremony was also used and that greenery could not have been more gorgeous against the whites and blues.
Any invitation suite that has hand calligraphy is okay by us, but this is something out of a fairytale. The invitation was written with copper ink on a frayed piece of stock. And the envelope? A translucent envelope so the metallic copper inner envelope showed through. Finish it off with a copper seal and that’s one piece of mail we would totally hang on the fridge!
Everything about this styled shoot, from the dusty blues to the copper to the velvet, it’s the perfect inspiration!
