Emotional Elopement Wedding that Focused on What’s Important – Love and Forever Commitment

Dani DeLeon + Andy Guerrero | Jul 28, 2018

Mountain Elopement at Silver Fork Winery near Asheville, North Carolina

Dani and Andy’s wedding day was what elopement dreams are made of.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views at Silver Fork Winery, located right outside of Asheville, North Carolina, the two became husband and wife with only themselves, their officiant and their photographer in the know about their beautiful private union.

They quietly exchanged handwritten vows under a simple wooden arbor with natural shrubbery on both sides and with the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. The emotion was evident on their faces as they committed themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. It was clear that they wanted their wedding to solely be a reflection of what’s important to them, their forever love. With just the sound of the wind and the whirring snap of the camera shutter, the stripped-down perfect moment was peaceful and intimate, exactly what Dani and Andy envisioned for their wedding day.

Dani looked stunning in her $100 lace LuLu’s dress, which she accessorized with a sparkly beaded belt and matching strappy heels (one of which had “Andy” written on it, Toy Story style!). Her long hair was pulled back in a gorgeous half-up, half-down style and a beautiful hairpiece accented her flowing chapel-length veil.

She and Andy rented a small cabin where they each got ready on their own and shared an emotional first look prior to their private ceremony. Tiny portraits of their deceased fathers were attached to Dani’s bouquet and Andy’s suit jacket; a special way to include two very important men in their day.

After their ceremony, the newlyweds shared a private champagne toast inside the winery and soaked in their first moments together as a married couple. Dani and Andy then shared an impromptu private first dance in the winery’s reception area and their photographer shared that in that moment.

“I was able to fully embrace and appreciate just why I choose to photograph weddings,” the photographer. “This is why. This is real. This is everything.”

Dani and Andy ended their perfect elopement wedding with a send-off by their beloved pups to start their forever together.

Congratulations, Dani and Andy!
