Tyler Broadnax + Zach Shrader | Sep 24, 2017
Tyler and Zach’s garden-style wedding was held on a warm summer day in September at The Sarasota Springs, a storybook plantation-style home venue right outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. With a roaring 20’s meets garden party theme, the home was the perfect setting for their vision. Shades of blue accented by hints of champagne made up their color palette, helping to bring the glitz and romance to life.
Tyler and Zach said their “I dos” under a beautiful gazebo and then exited their ceremony via a horse-drawn carriage to spend a few moments alone as newlyweds! The outdoor reception took place under a gorgeous tent complete with a glittering chandelier. The wedding party tables were draped in gold sequined linens while the guest tables were dressed in textured navy linens. Each table featured gold candelabras dripping with sparkle while vases with floating candles added a touch of romance. Cream rose petals and blue hydrangea petals were sprinkled on the tables and pearls were draped on the chairs as a nod to 1920’s glam. And no brunch wedding is complete without a mimosa bar!
Fashion also played a big part in the theme and the newlyweds and their bridal party looked amazing. Tyler’s ladies held true to the vintage-glam feel by wearing mismatched dresses in shades of light blue and their hair in finger waves with gold accessories. Tyler’s dress was stunning with lace detailing and sparkly beading. To keep with the 1920’s theme, she accessorized with a forehead band of pearls and gold dangle earrings. Her bridal look was truly the epitome of glitzy yet romantic. Zach and his groomsmen wore navy blue tuxedos with champagne ties and pocket squares; they were the perfect handsome complement to the beautiful ladies! The entire day was amazing and after having the best time celebrating with friends and family, the newlyweds headed off under a shower of flower petals to start the beginning of their happily ever after!
Congratulations, Tyler and Zach!
