Kelsey + Edward | Apr 28, 2018
The weather was warm and the sun was shining on a beautiful May Day, which is exactly what Kelsey and Edward prayed for for their outdoor wedding. Mimosas helped calm the nerves along with the couple’s pitbull, Gatsby, who was the sweetest ring bearer.
Prior to their vintage-inspired ceremony, the couple of more than seven years shared a first look that was everything they had hoped for: intimate, charming and romantic. Dressed in pink and blue, their bridal entourage walked down the aisle to modern songs of instrumental melodies followed by the bride’s grandmothers as her “flower girls.” The guests giggled as the two women threw pedals laughing and enjoying life. The ceremony was traditional but modern and orchestrated by a close friend of the couple.
Post-ceremony, the two were able to share time with close family and friends for a few pictures and then took some time to be alone as newlyweds. At sunset, the couple posed for some beautiful photos in the plantation home venue, complete with a garden, lily pad pond and beautiful spring flowers. The couple then danced the night away with friends and family just like when they met seven years ago in college. Kelsey and Edward did not stop smiling the whole day and their wedding was everything they could imagine.
Congratulations, Kelsey and Edward!
