128 South and Bakery 105 are located in historic downtown Wilmington, North Carolina on the banks of the Cape Fear River. Each venue offers a unique reception space for all of your wedding festivities including: wedding ceremony, wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, engagement party, etc. The venues both provide indoor and outdoor event spaces with 128 South's Riverview Deck and Bakery 105's Garden Courtyard. The venues are quite different from one another, but are sure to offer something for every bridal taste. Our most recent addition is The Cottage on Orange Street - a bridal venue located across from the Bakery 105 entrance. This charming and cozy location has historical roots dating back to the 1840s. The Cottage is ideally suited for a wedding day "getting ready" space or the side yard provides a lovely location for a bridal (or baby) shower. 128 South also boasts onsite lodging options at Stemmerman's Inn. Stemmerman's accommodations are charming, spacious, and cozy. Each suite features high ceilings, large living spaces, a kitchenette and an upstairs sleeping loft.
