Inspired by the couple who wants to elope but not compromise on their wedding, this styled wedding shoot highlights the ability to make wedding day special, intimate and unique while still enjoying traditional wedding elements. The shoot was brought together with Just Bloom Together's vision and assistance.
The shoot took place at a Downtown Asheville hotel, the Hyatt Place Asheville, where they opted for a fun and happy 70’s theme, full of color and retro details. The couple got ready separately, enjoying glasses of bubbly and brews. The bride even took part in a non-traditional boudoir shoot, a flirty idea that’s starting to become quite the trend!
After getting glammed up in a lace gown with a colorful wrap and geometric jewelry, the bride meet her groom for a first look. He looked the part in his “dope” 70’s inspired T-shirt under a black tuxedo jacket and North Carolina themed socks, the perfect mix of laid-back style.
They exchanged their rings and vows at the rooftop bar as the sun set over the Blue Ridge Mountains, bathing them in colors that perfectly matched the feel of the shoot. Afterward, they enjoyed a special meal in a reception space decked with vibrant emerald greens, bright blues, golden accents florals. Their gorgeous cake had an understated disco feel to it, serving as the icing on the cake!
