THE STORY
Jessica and Austin had originally planned a wedding filled with 100+ of their closest family and friends. But like many other 2020 couples, they had to decide what to do when COVID put a wrinkle in those plans.
So, the couples decided to move forward with a beautiful and intimate wedding for just nine in-person guests and incorporate a virtual aspect to include the rest of the guests.
Jess and Austin gathered with their very closest family and friends for a ceremony officiated by the bride’s sister. The couple exchanged vows they wrote themselves with the Berkshire Hills and sun shining perfectly behind them.
After the ceremony, the couple and their families gathered for an intimate dinner set and backyard games. The dinner table was lined with bud vases filled with florals in the color palette for the day and set with a lavender napkin and fresh sprig of lavender. It could not have been more perfect.
THE COUPLE'S FAVORITE THINGS
A day filled with love and a meaningful ceremony.
“The day was simple and focused on what matters most to us: our love and partnership, our family,” said the bride. “Our first look with Jocelyn was one of our favorite moments of the day.”
“We wrote our own vows and incorporated a reading by Rumi (“You and I”), as well as insight into our love story and more from Alandra and two of our closest friends, Gillian and Luis,” Jess told us. “It was magic and we could not have imagined a more beautiful 30 minutes, with the golden sun shining in through the massive open doorway under Wendy’s lavender-inspired installation.”
