A Farm Meets Quarry Wedding

Caitlyn and Michael’s story began on a gloriously fateful St. Patrick’s Day at a bar crawl in Uptown Charlotte. They randomly met outside of a bar when Caitlyn was dared to go up to Michael, a handsome stranger, and give him a kiss! She did it and it was love-at-first-kiss. After exchanging texts and calls, the two soon became inseparable!
The two really had no choice but to have their wedding on March 18 since the date was so close to the holiday on which they met! Caitlyn and Michael’s wedding had small touches of St. Patrick's Day decor, with green accents placed throughout the venue all planned beautifully by The Silk Veil. Their outdoor wedding was held at a fabulous rock quarry and provided an amazing setting for photos by Rob + Kristen Photography. The naturally beautiful venue was gorgeously decorated with succulents and rustic décor, all of which were the perfect accents. The newlyweds danced the night away with friends and family and had a total party! So many laughs were had, cheers were made, and the love between the couple and their favorite people was clear – it was a wedding dream come true!
