A Mint Museum Randolph Wedding

Catherine + Jordan | Oct 14, 2017

When Catherine and Jordan met at the University of North Carolina as seniors, they soon realized they had a lot in common: faith, senses of humor and even the same birthday! After Jordan proposed last December, the couple started planning their October 2017 wedding and they knew they wanted a night filled with music, dancing and fond memories. Catherine looked stunning in her lace-applique gown with its elegant yet glamorous sheer detailing and her bridesmaids looked amazing in their wine-red dresses. The color scheme was perfect for an October wedding and Catherine says the flowers, particularly her bouquet, were some of her favorite parts of the day. “The pops of color and dinner-plate dahlias made for amazing details,” she says. After a beautiful church ceremony, both the bride and groom knew that hosting their reception at the Mint Museum Randolph was sure to be a hit because it made for a great dance floor and guests also were welcome to explore and enjoy the fantastic art. Shades of champagne-gold paired with mixed florals and candlelight brought the space to life and looked amazing against the modern backdrop. The couple opted against a first look and they were so happy that they waited until the ceremony to see each other. “Many a tear was shed,” Catherine says. “Thankfully, the best man came prepared with a pocket full of tissues.” Everything was perfectly executed by We Tie the Knots and Sunshower Photography did an amazing job capturing all the joy and happiness. Catherine and Jordan had the best day sharing their love with their family and friends and it was truly a dream come true!

Congratulations, Catherine and Jordan!
