A Museum Wedding Full of Metal and Floral Elements

Venessa Vera + Colin Quinn | Oct 21, 2017

A mutual friend introduced Venessa and Colin at a get together in Jacksonville, Florida. He asked her out on a date the following Saturday and Venessa agreed. The rest is, as they say, history!

For their wedding, Venessa and Colin wanted to create something completely unique to them. They loved the combination of metal and floral elements paired with a color scheme of navy, rose gold, copper and dark greenery. The Foundation for the Carolinas provided a modern backdrop as they brought the outside in for an elegant feel in the center of the city. Trees, plants and greenery paired with hanging rose-filled globes helped to create a romantic, whimsical vibe. All of their details were custom-made, from their stationary to the personalized logo on the dance floor. Mint to Be Weddings brought the couple’s vision to life perfectly.

Venessa was absolutely stunning in her long-sleeved wedding gown with lace illusion detailing and fitted satin skirt. When asked about his favorite memory of the day, Colin said, “We had just such an amazing time that honestly there are too many great memories to count. For me, I keep going back to standing at the altar. When I saw her walking down the aisle, I was just so happy. Everyone faded away and I was up there with the love of my life, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be.”

Congratulations, Venessa and Colin!
