Jenna + Chris |
Coincidentally, Jenna and Chris went to high school together but never really knew much of one another. They were “re-introduced” last year when they both began working at the same dental office. After just a few months together, Chris knew he wanted to propose.
Quite often, Chris wrote Jenna poems, so he thought it would be the perfect way to propose. Jenna got a new poem every other week for about two months. The first poem started with “will,” the second with “you,” the third with “marry” and the fourth, “me.” Each poem ended with the same line, “there’s something I’ve been asking you all along.” With the last poem there was also a little scavenger hunt that led Jenna back to each of the first poems. At the end of her hunt, Chris put the sentence together in front of her and despite having no makeup on and her nails not done, she said yes!
The couple met their photographer, Samantha Laffoon Photography, at the base of Black Balsam Knob in the mountains of Asheville for their beautiful engagement session. The group began their hike to the top to catch the views and the sunset for what ended up being one epic photo session.
“They are naturals in front of the camera and just love to be in each other's arms,” said the photographer. “It's so evident when they are together how in love they are – they laugh constantly when they are together and are so much fun to be around.”
The couple hugged, kissed, danced and twirled with nothing but sunset and mountains around them. It exactly what happiness and love should look like! We can’t wait to see what Something Perfect has planned for their wedding later this month!
Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs.!
