A Southern Country Club Wedding

Polly Peeler + Kyle Pousson | Oct 24, 2015

Polly and Kyle met via Tinder and had their first date at Common Market, one of Charlotte’s favorite hang-out hubs. Their relationship blossomed and when it came time to take things to the next level, Kyle had the sweetest proposal planned. The two went to a romantic dinner at the Fig Tree restaurant and then continued the date when they arrived home. They sat outside, enjoying the nice night, and Kyle started reminiscing about all the special times they had shared as a couple. He then led Polly inside where he had roses, champagne, and two ring boxes set up. He got down on one knee and asked Polly to marry him with a beautiful ring that incorporated the diamond from her great-grandmother’s ring. She said “Yes!” to make the moment even better, Kyle gave Polly a gorgeous diamond David Yurman ring as a symbolic gift from him – it was the perfect engagement!

For their beautiful blush and gold wedding day, it was important to Polly and Kyle to tie in little details that were unique and special to them. They gave a nod to Kyle’s New Orleans heritage by incorporating fleur de lis throughout their invitations, programs, and décor, and also passed out Mardi Gras masks to guests to up the dancing fun! Some of the couple’s favorite foods were also incorporated into the wedding reception -- a little model of their cat climbing up the cake, raspberry macaroons, a pink cotton candy machine (a childhood favorite of Polly's, which was a surprise for her) and Krispy Kreme doughnuts as favors for their guests (a favorite of Polly's dad, which was a surprise for him). The best part of Polly and Kyle’s day was sealing their union with a kiss and becoming husband & wife after a ceremony officiated by Ceremonies by Katherine (Katherine Edwards) . The couple had the best time soaking in the fun that all their family and closest friends were having together and just knowing that they were officially married!

Congratulations, Polly and Kyle!
