Samantha + Chris | May 13, 2017
They say “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” but not for these two! Samantha and Chris met at a pool party in Las Vegas and completely hit it off. They knew they had found something special and their chance meeting blossomed into a real relationship. The two decided to select a new hometown and purchased their first home in Charlotte and they have had the best time building their lives together with their two seriously cute pups!
When it came time to start planning their wedding, Samantha and Chris knew exactly what they wanted. They had a classic ceremony at St. Peters Catholic church and then continued the celebration across the street at the fabulous Mint Museum Uptown for their amazing wedding reception. With the couple’s vision in mind, the Something Perfect planning team set out to bring their dream wedding to life. Gorgeous white drapery, hanging silver chandeliers and lace tablecloths brought a dreamy feel to the top floor of the modern museum and soft pink and white florals added a romantic touch. The three-tiered cake created by Nona’s Sweets was a confectionary dream and completely tied the entire look and feel of the day together. Guests enjoyed wine and a family style pasta dinner by Something Classic all while listening to toasts which were both heartfelt and hilarious. An epic dance party followed and the perfect night ended with Samantha bringing down the house by singing Spice Girls on the dance floor. The newlyweds truly had the best time celebrating with their friends and family and wrapped their wedding up with a glowstick exit before being whisked off into the Uptown night as Mr. and Mrs. in a bicycle rickshaw!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Louis-Jacques!
