Hoda Abrahim + Abdul Hagar | Mar 11, 2017
Hoda and Abdul met through mutual friends while he was living in Germany and she in North Carolina. They were a match made in heaven and within a couple of months, they were engaged and planning a wedding! They maintained their long-distance relationship all the way up to their wedding day and since they only had five weeks to plan their big day, they were under a strict timeline. They initially planned to get married in Germany but decided at the last minute to move the celebration to North Carolina. After a brief travel scare (Abdul almost missed his flight due to the employees of the Berlin airport going on strike two days before the wedding!), he finally made it to North Carolina in the nick of time! Everything came together perfectly and 200 of their closest friends and family came from all over the world to celebrate Hoda and Abdul’s love. Hoda’s was absolutely gorgeous in her satin ballgown and her coordinating hijab and flowing veil were the perfect finishing touches. Her bridal party looked amazing in their mismatched dress in various soft shades and textures and the color scheme was perfect for a March wedding. The couple shared a sweet first look prior to their ceremony and the touching moment was filled with hugs, twirls, and happy kisses. After their ceremony, they had the best time dancing the night away at their reception and enjoyed finally getting to be together. Their flawless day was everything they dreamed and per Hoda, “Our wedding was proof that even if you don't have tons of time to plan, you can still have the wedding of your dreams and celebrate your love the way you always imagined.”
Congratulations, Hoda and Abdul!
