Summery styled shoot with pops of yellow, shades of blue and a garden party-themed setting at Paradise Spring in Tampa, Florida
At a Tuscan-style villa, nestled amongst live oak trees, towering palms and a natural spring, a unique and private wedding venue provided a one-of-a-kind backdrop for this boho-chic, summery styled shoot.
“When you think of summer, you think of yellow lemons, lemonade, blueberry sponge cake, fruits, mimosas, and your furry best friend by your side!” said the photographer.
The garden party-inspired set-up kicked off with a bright and bubbly wedding invitation suite. Each piece was on modern, brown kraft stationery and complete with handwritten calligraphy and art featuring blue delphinium and vibrant yellow lemons.
“This styled shoot was full of all of your summer dreams!” said the wedding photographer.
In their mismatched champagne gowns, the bridesmaids clinked glasses with the bride on the villa terrace. Each carried a hard-shell marbled clutch that was personalized with their name, while the bride’s clutch read “Mrs.”
“A DIY mimosa was available for the bride and her bridesmaids,” said the photographer, “with an assortment of fruits.”
Between celebratory mimosas, the ladies marveled at the bride in her wedding gown. She wore an A-line ivory gown featuring a plunging neckline and stunning lacework that cascaded from the bodice down to the hem of her tulle skirt. To top off the look, she wore metallic pearl-embellished strappy block heels.
“We had a romantic, glamorous gown on the bride, and the groom brought along his ‘man's best-friend,’” said the photographer, “a Labrador Retriever named Logan!”
The groom wore a dapper bespoke navy wedding suit paired with a classic black bow tie and suspenders. To round out the couple’s ensemble, their precious, four-legged friend wore his very own tuxedo!
His boutonniere was made from a spray of wildflowers and blue delphinium, which beautifully complemented the bridal bouquet. Her floral arrangement was a vibrant expression of summer, full of fresh greenery, blue delphinium, sprays of tiny wildflowers, cream garden roses, canary ranunculus and craspedia.
This floral design trickled into the rest of the wedding decor, starting with the dreamlike gold bar cart where mimosas were being mixed. The cart was topped with an assortment of berries, textured blue acrylic champagne flutes and a brushed gold ice bucket, and was wrapped with a garland of greenery and lemons.
“This was a summer elopement styled shoot to remember!” said the photographer.
In front of the spring, a white wooden pergola was adorned with a breathtaking floral installation, including gorgeous baby blue hydrangeas. It was the most enchanting backdrop for a picturesque, intimate ceremony.
“The ceremony space was set as an intimate elopement, and the bride and groom had some snuggles before the picnic,” said the photographer.
In the garden, a Pinterest-worthy tablescape was set up for a charming picnic reception. Next to a chalkboard welcome sign, there was a blue and white striped umbrella with fringe trim, casting shade over a pile of boho-chic pillows and a picnic basket overflowing with fresh summer blooms.
The low wooden table was complete with plush pillows and woven poufs for seating, and topped with a sheer lace runner, taper candles and a centerpiece in a gold geometric stand. Each place setting was set with ruffled-rim porcelain plates, brushed gold flatware and lustrous gold-rimmed coupes.
“The boho-glamorous picnic was full of fruits, fresh coconuts, and yummy macarons!” said the photographer.
After the wedding party dined on multi-colored macarons and mixed berries served on rustic wooden cutting boards, the bride and groom posed beneath the villa’s archways, on a tree swing, and inside where light streamed in through the windows.
