Melissa Cook + Zach Cook | Oct 15, 2016
Sometimes, the passing of time is all it takes before the best things in life happen to you. So was the case for Melissa and Zach who, unknowingly, grew up attending high schools only 20 minutes apart. Turns out, Zach had noticed Melissa in his high school yearbook years but it wasn’t until years later when they went on their first date that the two would realize this. Talk about a fun twist!
It wasn’t long into dating before they both knew they had found “the one” and they decided on forever. Melissa knew she wanted a simple yet elegant wedding. The historic feel of their venue inspired the couple to add a vintage touch to their big day. Melissa’s ornate lace dress and Zach’s dapper gray suit paired perfectly with their vision for their fall Charlotte wedding. Their wedding party looked phenomenal in the vintage color scheme with bridesmaids in wine and groomsmen in gray suit-vests. The gorgeous wrap-around porch and sprawling grounds were the perfect place for delicious food from Bistro Catering and a fun night of dancing. To wrap up the happy day, a glittery sparkler send-off, captured by Irresistible Portraits, lit up the October night and sent the newlyweds joyfully on their way into marital bliss.
Congratulations, Melissa & Zach!
