Amanda Hayes + Brandon Prickett | Jul 23, 2016
Amanda and Brandon met through Amanda’s best friend who worked with Brandon at the time. The two hit it off and dated for two years before Brandon decided it was time to pop the question. On the two-year anniversary of their first date, Brandon recreated the night but on a bigger and grander scale. Instead of having dinner at a small Italian restaurant, they went to a fancy one; instead of watching her favorite movie at home, he rented out a movie theatre for a private showing; and instead of asking her to be his girlfriend, he asked her to be his wife! Amanda said yes and the two couldn’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
Amanda and Brandon had a fairytale July wedding at Saratoga Springs, a gorgeous 22-acre venue in Mount Pleasant, NC. They wanted their wedding to be a beautiful, Southern affair with traditional elements and the plantation-style home with its “Gone with the Wind” style brought their vision to life. Their pastel color palette of lavender and blush created a storybook look and was the perfect complement to the romantic venue. Amanda looked like a princess in her lace gown and her entrance in the horse-drawn carriage was the icing on the cake. Guests enjoyed delicious fare by Union Street Bistro and the exquisitely detailed four-tier cake was wedding perfection. Amanda and Brandon danced the night away with their friends and family and the joyous evening concluded with the happy newlyweds being sent-off in a flurry of whimsical bubbles. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
Congratulations, Amanda & Brandon!
