A Sweet Summer Engagement Session

Sangeeta + Daniel | Jul 25, 2017

Sangeeta and Daniel met in graduate school during orientation. Although they didn’t talk much that day (Sangeeta was involved in a texting conversation), Daniel still remembers exactly what she was wearing on the first day they met. Over the course of the next few months, the two became friends and their friends started pointing out that there may be more than friendship between the two. After spending hours on the phone during holiday breaks, they realized that there were feelings there and their friendship blossomed into a dating relationship.  Sangeeta and Daniel dated for 6 years and overcame long-distance struggles and family complications. Sangeeta is Hindu and her parents expected her to get an arranged marriage to an Indian man; however, Sangeeta loved Daniel and her parents (thankfully!) came around and saw what a great man he was and how happy he made their daughter. Her parents' acceptance of Daniel is one of the best things that has ever happened to her! The happy couple will be saying “I Do” this November and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Sangeeta and Daniel flew all the way from Michigan for their sweet engagement session with Back Seat Photography. They started at CPCC Botanical Gardens where Sangeeta wore her traditional sari for the first part of the session. After a change of clothes, the couple headed to Romare Bearden Park for some more fun pictures. They then visited a secluded rooftop for a little romance in the sunset. Although the day was incredibly hot, the couple still had a blast and their pictures were fabulous!

Congratulations, Sangeeta & Daniel!
