After meeting to discuss the inspiration shoot, photographer, florist and cake designer wanted to create an indie meets glam look. It’s something that could clash but could also go together beautifully – and they definitely achieved the latter!
The barn wood sweetheart table held gorgeous mixed plates from Anthroplogie, vintage pressed glasses, unique gold chargers and a sari as the tablecloth. The florals featured lots of greenery alongside pops of yellows, white, peaches and pinks. Deedie of Springvine created three bouquets, all beautiful and unique, tied with homemade silk ribbon. The girl’s hair was also adorned with flower crowns made from one single vine.
The hand painted wedding cake from Sky’s the Limit were bolder with dark colors and light gold ribbon.
“The dresses we used almost sat on the edge of a bohemian feel but still had that pop of glam in the beaded areas,” said Casey of Casey Hendrickson Photography. “The suede berry colored shoes from Modcloth and gold geometric earrings from J. Crew were the perfect finishing touches. Our surprise guests (the horses) definitely added some sweet moments to this session.”
We love all three looks in this shoot!
