Catlin Beaucage + Jeremy Owens | Apr 23, 2016
Catlin and Jeremy met in Charleston where Catlin was studying. After a first date in a sushi restaurant, the two continued dating for two years long distance. Catlin moved to Charlotte with Jeremy and three years later, Jeremy surprised Catlin by getting down on one knee during a massage at The Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge.
For Catlin and Jeremy, they wanted their day to be beautiful and filled with tons of personal touches. Which is exactly what it was! Working with Something Perfect to design their Charlotte wedding day, Catlin and Jeremy chose a gorgeous color palette of lavender and charcoal. The soft flowers mixed with the rustic style vessels paired perfectly with the beauty of Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. A rustic bar and sweetheart table completed the setting for this gorgeous reception.
But it was the personal details that hit this wedding out of the park: a sushi pop display reminiscent of their first date; a cake topper with their entire family (dogs and all); a nod to Alice in Wonderland with “drink me” and “eat me” favors; and a sweet memorial to Jeremy’s late father.
Congratulations to this sweet couple!
