Maeghan Campbell + Ian Smith | May 12, 2017
Maeghan and Ian met during nursing school in 2012 and although they didn’t hit it off from the start, by the end of the first semester they had become best friends. After three years of studying together, eating lunch together, and all-around enjoying each other’s company, they realized during their last semester that what they had could be more than a friendship. After graduation, Maeghan and Ian spent the entire summer together before starting their “adult jobs” and during this time something clicked and they each knew they had found “the One”.
Maeghan and Ian got engaged in Savannah, which was so special because the couple call it “their place” for so many reasons! Their love for the gorgeous city was the inspiration for their spring wedding at Ritchie Hill. To them, the beautiful historic property felt like it should be in Savannah and they immediately fell in love with charm of the old white house and the Southern feel of the area. Maeghan and Ian wanted their wedding to be elegant and classy so they kept their color scheme understated and chose shades of grey for their fabulous bridal party. They chose peach and ivory flowers that were accented with delicate greenery and were the perfect complement to the gorgeous venue.
Maeghan and Ian truly had the best day ever and it was perfect from start to finish. Maeghan’s most memorable moment was seeing Ian’s face light up when he saw her for the first time and remembering the moment still gives her butterflies! The couple loved dancing the night away with their closest friends and family and will forever cherish the best day of their lives. Congratulations, Maeghan and Ian!
