Warm Lakeside Stunner for these Love Birds

Donald and Pamela met during college while working at a shoe store in the mall. Their funny and outgoing personalities clicked immediately and one year later, Donald officially asked Pamela out (out-school style with notebook paper and a “check yes or no” box).
After a two-year breakup, the two started attending Elevation Church together.
“We really started to let God lead our relationship,” said Pamela. “To see the way we both grew as a couple and how fast our lives were changing for the better made me realize there was no one in the world I’d rather spend the rest of my life with.”
Their faith helped them make the best of their rainy Charlotte wedding day.
Surrounded by friends and family, the brie and groom wore smiles that lit up the entire country club the entire night.
“We both love fall and wanted to incorporate purple and warm tones throughout the venue,” said the Charlotte bride. “Our ceremony was our favorite part because we were able to bring in a wooden cross decorated with white fabric and beautiful floral arrangements to symbolize our faith.”
For the newlyweds, their favorite part was combining their cultures. Panela’s family from the Dominican Republic enjoyed teaching Donald’s family how to dance, salsa, merengue and bachata while Donald’s family enjoyed teaching her family how to do the “Cupid Shuffle.”
“It was so much fun getting to witness that and we will forever cherish those moments for as long as we live,” said Pamela.
