Whimsical styled shoot with vibrant colors and countryside views at Bella Collina in Orlando, Florida
The spirit of Tuscany came to life during this styled shoot, set at a picturesque, Italian countryside villa. Vibrant, whimsical colors created a striking contrast against the rustic elements, with expansive, breathtaking views as the backdrop.
“The venue is one of the most unbelievable venues I've been to,” said the photographer. “It felt like you were in Italy!”
Displayed on an antique silver tray, the invitation suite tied together the shoot’s vibrant colors and sophisticated details. The ivory, deckled-edge paper was calligraphed in dusty rose ink and surrounded by soft florals and loose greenery.
For the solo bride’s vintage-inspired look, the model was a vision in a sheer and flowy, off-white lace gown with long puff sleeves. The dress featured a dramatic slit, an open back, and a thin pearl-embellished belt, which matched her tulle hair bow that was sprinkled with dainty pearls.
The second bride glowed in a boho-chic, sheer ivory gown that also combined elements of a flowy silhouette, elegant embroidery and long puff sleeves. A dramatic deep V neckline and open back plunged all the way to a thin crystal belt, and she wore a pearl headband, pearl drop earrings and pearl-embellished, pointed pumps.
“The two dresses were both custom-made for this shoot and fit the two brides so perfectly,” said the photographer.
Her husband looked dapper in a sleek, three-piece navy suit paired with a satin, sky blue bow tie. He tied in all the pearly whites with a white dress shirt and pocket square, which was complemented by a boutonniere made of greenery and lavender.
The playful color palette breathed life into the floral design, starting with the solo bride’s bouquet of cascading greenery, sprigs of lavender, dried grasses and flowers in shades of dusty rose, blush, lilac and tangerine. For the other bride, her bouquet was a clean-cut collection of eucalyptus, dusty rose anemones and roses in cream, blush and violet hues.
Florals were at the focal point of this styled shoot’s decor, and paired exquisitely with the estate’s natural ivy-clad walls, cypress trees and perfectly-manicured lawns.
“The landscaping and the architecture is undeniable,” said the photographer. “The shoot featured a mix of real and wood florals around the property.”
The ceremony was set up in the grand lawn, where the space boasted never-ending hillside views. There were white Chiavari chairs set up for the guests, and lining the aisle, they placed white lanterns in beds of rose petals and greenery. At the altar, there were three ivory, arched wire structures intertwined with ivy, dried grasses and romantic floral installations.
Not far, a reflection pool glistened in the sunlight, with two stunning floral arrangements in the water. Right at the edge of the water, the solo bride nestled into the steel blue, plush velvet loveseat. The rest of the lounge area was complete with blush velvet armchairs, shag pillows, gold accent tables and vases, and a baby blue Turkish rug.
“The colorful mood board was executed beautifully, and the vendors really knocked it out of the park,” said the photographer.
In the villa’s entryway, amidst majestic columns, wagon wheel chandeliers and a grand fountain, a trio of beautiful cakes and floral arrangements created a sea of color. The multi-tiered, playful cakes were accented with gorgeous, brushed gold furniture.
Nearby, the seating assignments were engraved on a Victorian, gold-framed mirror. The chart hung on a lush boxwood wall with floral installations and was accompanied by a small bar cart with bubbly. For the rest of the champagne, glasses were displayed in rows on the boxwood wall for guests to grab.
On the way to the reception table, guests strolled past a charming wooden cart surrounded by loose florals and arrangements overflowing from white ceramic vases. The farm table was placed in a rustic pergola, with greenery and wooden light fixtures suspended overhead.
“The reception table was nothing short of amazing!” said the photographer.
The tablescape was truly dreamlike, with vibrant floral arrangements in stone ceramic vases along the center of the table. There was also a blush pink wispy cheesecloth fabric, taper candles and colorful dried grasses adding to the decor. Each place setting featured a gold-rimmed glass charger, mismatched china plate, gold flatware and crystal chalices.
“Everything about this shoot was amazing!” said the photographer.
