Ashley + Nick |
In a word, this styled shoot was eclectic. A team of super talented vendors envisioned a So-Cal meets North Carolina farm country vibe so the look was a little boho, a little rustic, and a little modern. By mixing modern and antique decor, and incorporating geometric and organic shapes, the team’s vision was brought to life mainly by mixing textures and elements all captured beautifully by Ariel Kaitlin Photography. The color scheme of peachy pinks and greenery was chosen based on what would be in season at the time of the shoot since all the flowers were locally sourced. The floral hoops created for the bridesmaids were some of the most unique details from the whole shoot. The decor elements helped capture that bohemian aesthetic and also brought some vintage glam to the photo shoot, including gorgeous paper goods by Red Clay Paper.
To make this shoot even better, the models, Ashley & Nick, are a real life married couple and the joy and love they have for each other was captured in every picture. The shoot fell a few days before their 3rd anniversary so a surprise vow renewal was planned to happen at the photoshoot! When it came time to shoot the "ceremony", there was an actual real ceremony officiated by one of the “bridesmaids” with a reading, vows, and everything! Everyone cried and it was a super sweet moment for everyone involved.
