Elegant, summer styled shoot with lavender-infused florals and decor at The Palmetto Club in Lithia, Florida
From the minute you step on the wedding venue grounds, situated on an enchanting half-acre of manicured gardens outfitted with serene fountains, the hidden gem draws you in with numerous picturesque settings. The models took the space by storm, making the team’s lavender-infused visions a reality.
“Marion and Alejandro were a ton of fun to work with!” said the photographer.
In the grand courtyard’s abundant natural light, the bride looked captivating wearing a figure-sculpting, long-sleeve gown featuring lace overlay and a dramatic plunging neckline. She wore a bold berry lip, embellished drop earrings and a waltz veil.
Her groom looked effortlessly dapper in a three-piece dove grey suit, paired with a lavender tie and of course - a soft lilac rosebud on his lapel.
“Some of the highlights of the shoot were the gorgeous lavender blooms the florist used,” said the photographer, “which made for great bouquets and centerpieces!”
The bridal bouquet was a femme-inspired arrangement of cream, lilac, lavender and dusty pink garden roses, which influenced the overall floral design throughout the shoot’s decor.
Wrapped around a beautiful archway in front of a wrought-iron gate, magnolia leaves, dusty and lilac roses and ivory hydrangeas provided a whimsical ceremony arbor for the couple to say, “I do.”
Cocktail hour commenced out on the veranda, where a vintage trailer served vibrant, “Purple Blossom” signature cocktails in sophisticated martini glasses, garnished with a lemon wedge.
“This inspiration shoot also features a mobile bar,” said the photographer, “which is something that is really trendy in weddings - especially micro-weddings.”
Beneath the overhang, a luxe dinner party was set with gold Chiavari chairs and a crushed velvet, lavender tablecloth. There were two breathtaking centerpiece arrangements in glass fluted vases, surrounded by gold candle votives.
Each place setting showcased gold-rimmed porcelain plates layered atop a glass, scalloped-edge charger, paired with antique gold flatware and elegant crystal glassware. Nearby, the wedding cake popped with a rich green wallpaper in the backdrop.
“The cake featured three tiers all of different textures and colors,” said the photographer. “I really love the marble look that is becoming popular among wedding cakes lately!”
They were even joined by a special guest dressed in his wedding best - a handsome pup named Henry who was actually up for adoption with a local animal rescue.
“It was so sweet to him to interact with us and I know he will find his forever home soon!” said the photographer.
This sweet and romantic styled shoot has us dreaming in shades of luxe lavender!
