Lucia + Sean |
High school sweethearts, Lucia and Sean, immediately fell in love with the stunning flowers and spectacular grounds of Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden when looking for a wedding venue. After seven years of dating, they both knew it was the perfect place to celebrate their joyful union with those closest to them. The beautiful yet relaxed atmosphere fit perfectly with their combined themes of “simply classic” and “southern fun.”
The lively reception, which welcomed family and friends of all ages, was full of fun, dancing and leisure games like cornhole and giant Jenga. Lucia is a teacher who loves kids and it was important to her and Sean to have family of all ages celebrate their marriage.
"Something that made our wedding really special was that we had children celebrate with us,” said Lucia. “Children are a huge part of my life as a teacher and family is a huge part of our lives.”
To make the day even more special, one more child was welcomed into the world that night! Lead photographer, James Nix’s son was born three weeks early and Lucia and Sean were absolutely thrilled to be sharing their wedding date with his birthday!
The summer night was filled young and old alike living it up on the dance floor. The glowing market lights strung amongst the giant open-air tent truly captured the jubilant mood and provided the perfect setting among the garden’s summer blooms. The perfect day overflowed with the love of family and friends, the scent of a sweet southern night and the pure joy exuberating from the happy couple.
Congratulations, Lucia and Sean!
