Merry & Bright

Christmas-themed styled shoot with ruby red florals, abundant greenery and gold accents in the Tennessee River Gorge in Chattanooga, Tennessee

We are feeling the holiday cheer from this Christmas-themed wedding styled shoot, featuring ruby red roses and poinsettias, abundant greenery, gold accents and glamorous attire.

“This styled shoot featured natural light, traditional Christmas decor, and a beautiful venue,” said the photographer.

The festivities began with the on-theme invitation suite, showcasing classic red and green tones and elegant handwritten calligraphy. Surrounding the layout were sprigs of magnolia, boxwood and cedar.

In her bridal look, the model stole the show wearing a spectacular ball gown, featuring an embellished champagne bodice with intricate beading and a sweetheart neckline. Her full tulle skirt offered cloudlike movement, and she added a bold red lip for a pop of glam.

Her groom embraced the holiday spirit in a classic black and white tuxedo, paired with a red and green plaid bow tie. His faux boutonniere combined sprigs of red berries, redwood greenery and a brushed gold leaf.

For the floral design, the team infused the arrangements with classic Christmas greenery and blooms, including wine-colored roses and poinsettias, red berries, and sprays of blue spruce, pine, cedar and redwood. The bridal bouquet was kept simple, with a small cluster of elegant red roses and greenery.

At the entrance to the charming cabin, boasting a cozy mix of stone and wood elements, a large wreath hung with red bows and tiny ornaments. Inside, a grand Christmas tree stood tall adorned with twinkling lights, cascading ribbon, florals and gorgeous glass ornaments to enhance the Christmas wedding theme.

On the floor next to the table, there was a collection of brushed gold lanterns, candlelight, lush greenery and gold geometric Christmas tree-like figurines. The table itself was all dressed in white, which allowed the tablescape to pop in all its holiday decor.

More gold lanterns and trees were strewn across the center of the table, atop beds of fresh greenery and red florals. The classic white folding chairs were tied with champagne satin sashes, and a bounty of candlelight created a cozy ambience.

Each seat at the guest table was set with a layered brushed gold charger, mint green dinner plate and scalloped white plate. The display was topped with a poinsettia-printed napkin linen and a glass ball ornament. To tie the table design together, they used antique gold flatware and dark red chalices.

At the sweetheart table, there was an embroidered red runner, set with gold taper candles and a laser-cut sign reading, “Mr. and Mrs.” Each place setting showcased a brushed gold charger, layered with holly-trimmed dinner plates and a red and green plaid linen napkin. The couple clinked their crystal goblets to the joy of being home for the holidays.

For the last few shots, the bride changed into a figure-sculpting ivory gown with lace overlay and cap sleeves. The couple ended the wedding photo shoot out on the cabin porch, with 360-degree breathtaking mountain views and warm natural light streaming in from all angles.

Cheers to feeling merry and bright!
