Martha Robertson + Sid Marti | Oct 7, 2017
Planning a relaxed wedding that was a giant party was what Martha and Sid set out to do… and exactly what happened last October!
The two started off by getting ready together at Martha's parents’ house and then shared a sweet first look outside the front door. Afterward, they took fun pictures with their pit bull, Lambo, whose bowtie matched the day’s color scheme.
They chose a Raleigh bar to with a hidden speakeasy to host the celebration. Prior to the ceremony, Martha and Sid greeted each one of their guests as they arrived and then people saddled up to the bar, grabbed some spirits, and got ready for the ceremony to start. When it was time, Martha’s dad escorted her through the tables up to the main stage where Sid was waiting excitedly. Once they were pronounced husband and wife, Martha and Sid happily walked back down the aisle to the bar, where the bartenders had special glasses filled with champagne for the newlyweds!
From there, it was a night filled with amazing BBQ, lots of laughs and a super fun stage filled with dancing. Rose Trail Images captured all the fun and personal details such as the cake topper that Martha’s parents used on their wedding day, personal song requests made by guests and the matching pearls worn by Martha, her sister, and her grandmother. Opting out of some of the more traditional moments on wedding day made the day that much more personal and special for the two of them.
Congratulations, Martha and Sid!
