Are you a Southern bride who is non-traditional? Then this winter wedding inspiration is meant for you! Straying from the more traditional ice blue and winter sparkle, the vendor team created a cozy, rich winter wedding setting using a navy and gold color palette. The dark space at 305 Trackside was transformed with a faux fireplace, luxe furs, throw pillows and Nordic deer décor to bring the feel of a Scandinavian winter setting to life right here in Raleigh.
Natural winter greenery and gold branches illuminated by fairy lights paired perfectly with the gold accents while soft candlelight created a warm, inviting feel to the space. The tablescape was exactly what you’d think of when you think Nordic winter: natural tree trunk chargers, dark blue glassware, patterned china, leather hide accents, lush greenery and candlelight. Tall navy tapered candles in mismatched candlesticks created drama and romance.
Each of the model brides looked stunning in their various Nordic bridal looks; although each gorgeous gown was different, all were highlighted by a matching fur wrap. A delicious red velvet cake in the shape of a deer head continued the Nordic theme. This shoot was gorgeous and completely showcased a different approach to the traditional winter wedding!
