Melissa Anderson + Adam Goldberg | Nov 19, 2016
Melissa and Adam’s relationship started like all great love stories – in the baggage claim of Memphis International Airport. Both were working for Deloitte Consulting, Melissa based in D.C. and Adam in Detroit, and they were working for a client in Memphis. Their relationship grew as travel became a big part of their lives and after several international trips and work projects, the two decided to settle down and build their home in D.C. There, Adam proposed to Melissa at the Smithsonian Castle and they celebrated with friends and family who had flown in from all over the country as an added surprise!
Melissa and Adam were married on a gorgeous November day at The Fearrington in Chapel Hill. They wanted their wedding day to be a celebration that truly represented them as a couple so they chose the Fearrington because it was were Melissa celebrated her 21st birthday with her family. They wanted to show the love to their friends and family so they incorporated small yet meaningful touches – photos of family weddings on the welcome table, wraps for the ceremony in case guests got cold, luggage tags as party favors, and several other sweet ideas all captured perfectly by Krystal Kast Photography! The barn reception was breathtaking with twinkling lights in the soaring rafters and the celebratory energy was felt by all. Melissa said, “Afterwards, many people mentioned how much the day, in addition to being a great celebration, felt like us, which was so special. It will be an occasion we look back on for the rest of our lives as the perfect start to being Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg.”
Congratulations, Melissa and Adam!
