Melody + Blake | Oct 24, 2020
Colors: Gold, white, blush, burgundy
Style: Relaxed rustic simplicity
Florals: Eucalyptus, succulents, roses
Fun fact: The bride had live succulents in her bouquet that she planted after the wedding.
Melody and Blake wanted a relaxed, farmhouse feel to embrace their outdoor, barn wedding venue. They brought that to life with lots of eucalyptus, and lots of rustic décor and accents -- even including the bride’s cowboy boots and the groom’s bolo tie.
Guests watched the ceremony in front of the wooden pergola outside before heading over to the open-air barn for the reception. Tables were set both indoors and outdoors with white linens, burgundy napkins and gold chargers. The wooden tree trunks, eucalyptus and lantern centerpieces added simple, rustic charm.
Having met at a local music venue and with many musician guests, it was key for the couple to have a band. The couple danced the night away with their closest family and friends.
THE FAVORITE THINGS:
The first look.
“Seeing each other all done up in private before walking down the aisle. It was actually breathtaking. Special and surreal in every way!” said the bride.
