Paige and Tyler met through Paige’s college roommate, who was dating Tyler’s cousin. One weekend, Tyler came to visit his cousin and the introduction was made. Paige was immediately drawn to Tyler’s eyes and instantly liked him! When the weekend was over, Tyler gave everyone a really big hug as he was leaving and Paige thought he would ask for her number when he got to her; instead, she got a one-armed side hug and he left! She looked at her roommate and said, “Ten dollars says I’ll never here from that dude again.” Well, the next morning, she woke up to find a Facebook message from Tyler asking for her number and the rest was history!
For their wedding, Paige and Tyler knew they wanted an outdoor evening ceremony with a smaller, more intimate feel. The Rand-Bryan house, a historic home venue in Raleigh, North Carolina, was the perfect venue for them as it could both accommodate their guest count and offered a beautiful outdoor space for their ceremony. The venue was perfect for the romantic, classic, Southern wedding they were envisioning. They chose a color scheme of cornflower blue and blush, all which was captured perfectly by Johanna Dye Photography. Paige’s bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their off-the-shoulder blue gowns that featured thin straps and soft silhouettes. The bride was perfection in her halter-style embroidered gown that was full of sparkle and breathtaking detail.
As Paige came down the aisle, happy tears were shed. Seeing each other for the first time was their favorite part of the day – when they locked eyes, it was as if the rest of the world disappeared. The romantic southern theme carried over into Paige and Tyler’s reception, which was filled with soft shades of blue and ivory florals and candlelight with silver accents. Each table was outfitted with white and blue linens and silver place settings to create a soft spring feel. Catering Works was a dream for the couple; they provided the gorgeous cake, the beautiful florals, the rentals, and the delicious food! Paige and Tyler also personalized their day in several ways, including a memorial to two special men that couldn’t be there – their grandfathers. The entire day was perfect and full of laughs, memories and happy moments. Paige and Tyler ended the evening with a gorgeous sparkler exit before heading off to their honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica!
When asked her tips for the planning bride, Paige shared, “Relax! Everything will work out the way it is supposed to. Don’t get stressed over things you can’t control. Oh, and your guests will RSVP late!”
