THE STORY:
Kellie and Addison’s wedding day was focused on celebrating their love, so of course the day included a lot of personal touches.
The couple shares a love for the color grey, so when Kellie put on a wedding dress her mom and best friend had picked out with gray on the inside, she knew it was the one! Of course, her look was not complete until she added her late grandmother’s bracelets. Addison personalized his look by sewing an embroidery patch of his cat child into his suit, paired with Boston Red Sox socks.
The ceremony space itself was set with a wildflower arch created by their friends, and the tables were DIY centerpieces created by the bride, mom and mother-in-law. The bride’s artwork was also incorporated through the décor. The dessert table include the couples favorite desserts – from cheesecake to croissants.
THE FAVORITE THINGS:
Kellie and Addison wanted their wedding day to be simple and focus on their love for one another, so it’s no surprise that the ceremony was the best part of the day for them.
“I feel that the most special moment of the day was finally getting to see Addison at the end of the aisle after waiting all night and day,” said Kellie. “I was so anxious to see him all day long and when it finally happened, I felt so much happiness. The ceremony was so sweet and meant so much to me to make those vows to him.”
