Morgan + Scottie | Aug 1, 2020
Location: Sparta, TN
Colors: Blush, navy, white and gold
Style: Simple garden
Florals: Roses, snapdragon and seeded eucalyptus
Fun fact: The bride added mesh sleeves to her dress because she originally envisioned a long sleeve dress but would have been too hot in August with sleeves
As a simple couple, Scottie and Morgan knew they wanted to keep their wedding day pretty simple, too. Even though they wanted simple doesn’t mean the day wasn’t still beautiful and special. The blush color palette was simple and romantic, and the greenery and florals added a garden feel to the day.
The couple was married outside on the property’s lawn beneath market light lined trees. The pastor of their church officiated and incorporated passages and messages from the Bible that were special to the couple.
Inside, the greenery continued to create a romantic garden feel for the wedding reception where the couple and their family and friends spent the evening celebrating with music, cake and a sparkler send off.
THE FAVORITE THINGS:
Spending the day with family and friends, and the walk down the aisle.
“Spending time with my bridal party before the pictures and ceremony was so fun, we listened to music while doing our hair and makeup,” said the bride. “My favorite part was watching the day go by and get closer to walking down the aisle! I was so excited to see Scottie at the end of the aisle and begin our lives as husband and wife. I felt the rest of the day was a celebration, seeing family and friends come together was so exciting.”
