Emily + Kyle | Nov 28, 2020
Colors: Burgundy, white and navy
Style: Romantic, winter garden
Florals: Greenery, roses, tulips
Fun fact: The couple first postponed their April wedding to September in San Diego, then tried to plan a wedding in Maine for a September date and then finally had a wedding in Sandy, Utah where they just moved.
After having to replan their wedding three different times, Emily and Kyle ended up with a romantic and intimate 15-person wedding in their new hometown of Sandy, Utah. They kept the day simple but filled with so many personal touches to keep the day special.
Even though the couple had to skip their first look due to a runaway dog, that first moment they saw each other as Emily walked into the ceremony was special. Guests watched the couple, in-person and virtually thanks to LoveStream, exchange their personally written vows as the groom’s father officiated.
The twinkle light lit greenery and white floral backdrop created the more romantic space that transitioned from the ceremony to the dinner and reception. Flowers were important to Emily, as she had worked a little in flower arranging in the past.
Dinner was served after the ceremony and the couple’s Spotify playlist provided the same music that their virtual guests got to experience on their LoveStream website. The couple enjoyed the rest of the night with dinner and conversation with their closest family and friends.
THE FAVORITE THINGS:
“I wanted it to feel dreamy and romantic with lots of greens and twinkly lights,” said the bride. “We had a tying the knot ceremony as an ode to Ireland where Kyle’s ancestors are from and where I studied abroad,” said Emily.
