Jul 1, 2020
Location: Captiva, FL
Colors: Blush, peach, cream, cornflower blue
Style: Whimsical garden
Florals: Roses, peonies, greenery
Fun fact: The shoot featured a real couple that planned to elope in Canada but with the borders being closed, that was not a possibility for them.
The muted pastels, the soft summer sun and the Banyan tree combined in this styled shoot to create the most beautiful day. From the pastel garden-style florals to the pastel hanging feature under the tree to the table for two on the dock, the day felt whimsical and romantic from start to finish.
Even the groom’s cornflower blue suit and the bride’s flowing train played into the whimsical style on that summer day.
The love was felt from the minute the couple laid eyes on each other under the tree, to the ghost chairs they sat in at their romantic waterside table for two.
THE FAVORITE THINGS:
The unconventional hanging tree décor.
“One of my favorite parts of the shoot was brought through with chair sashes that were hung in a tropical part of the venue to act as a playful photo drop,” said the shoot’s planner. “We loved using something that we had an abundance of in an unconventional way to make something different, flowy and beautiful.”
