Whimsical and Elegant Dessert Inspired Styled Shoot
What happens when you bring a team of wedding planners together? A gorgeous, inspired shoot is what! This wedding inspiration shoot, executed by more than 12 planning teams on the Chancey Charm retreat, stays true to their signature classic, luxury style while incorporating a whimsical touch.
The team set out to showcase both fabulous details and the love their couples share. “We want our weddings to be timeless, but also want to inspire our couples to be true to themselves,” said the team.
The mix of clean lines, natural light and urban vibe of The Foundation for the Carolinas served as the perfect setting for the shoot. “I always encourage our clients to find a space they already love without anything being added, this is the perfect example of that,” said the team. With a gorgeous backdrop, the rentals, linens and florals were able to speak for themselves.
The lush florals and organic greenery paired perfectly with the stunning details of the tablescape and lounge area. Elegant and feminine, the team used red and pink hues plus a pop of green to set the mood. The sweet model bride was dressed in a Haley Paige gown from Hayden Olivia that was absolutely stunning and paired perfectly with her dapper groom’s classic tuxedo.
“At one point, the couple was out the balcony with the photographer and she had them close their eyes and think of their first kiss. It was precious watching their reaction and spoke to the true love between them. It was magic.”
Breaking the mold on traditional sweet treats, the team had fun with handmade “milkshakes on crack” and cookie dough scoops. The champagne flutes provided another opportunity for a playful detail with a touch of cotton candy, provided by The Cotton Candy Factory which is a part of the nonprofit Holy Angels who provide a place of loving, living and learning while empowering the differently able.
