Classic and timeless styled shoot with silver and gold elements and a pop of blue at the River Run Country Club in Davidson, North Carolina

Nestled among a picturesque wooded landscape in North Carolina, a charming country club setting created the classic and timeless atmosphere for this elegant styled shoot. Our wedding dreams came to life with these arched windows, marble fireplaces and breathtaking views infused with silver and gold elements, pops of blue and fresh white florals.

“This session can be described as perfectly clean and classic,” said the photographer. “Multiple setups created two options for a ceremony look as well as tablescapes for reception decor.”

For the bridal look, the bride modeled a gorgeous, off-white sleeveless gown with a deep V-cut, lace detailing and sheer train. Her groom wore a blue, pantone-colored suit with a pink and blue checkered bow tie, white pocket square and boutonniere made of two cream rose buds.

“Both styles are perfectly trending with this year's bride and groom,” said the photographer.

The bride’s blonde hair was twisted elegantly into a low side bun with loose curls, while her makeup included a bold berry lip and miniature rhinestones under the lower eyelids - giving the look a romantic mixture of whimsical and boho vibes.

Her bridal bouquet was a simple, fresh selection of classic white florals including roses, Lily of the Valley blooms, and sprays of lush eucalyptus. The decor complemented the bouquet selection, with more installations and arrangements showcasing cream flowers and vibrant greenery.

“We chose to incorporate a timeless look for the florals by sticking to a white and creme color palette,” said the photographer.

For the first ceremony stage, there were multi-tiered glass vases with floating candles, silver chiavari chairs, with the main focal point at the marble fireplace, garnished with lush greenery and white florals on the mantle. Hanging overhead, there was a grand, circular tiered chandelier.

In the second ceremony space, there were two, four-foot tall focal pieces that exploded with white and green florals at the beginning of the aisle, with an enchanting floral arbor at the end of the aisle. The silver chiavari end chairs were tied with silver and gold sashes, and a string of twinkling lights were sparkling overhead.

Every window and accent table was adorned with a multitude of gold and glass votives, and there was an abundance of natural light pouring in through the windows. They posed for a few shots inside, before stepping outside to capture shots on the balcony with the venue’s golf course, ponds and wooded landscape in the backdrop.

In the reception space, the head table was decorated with a twenty-foot long, hand-made garland, with candle votives placed throughout. The gold and silver textured chargers, champagne and metallic-colored napkins, and centerpiece arrangements on the round tables boasting blooming hydrangeas created a warm and cozy feel for each tablescape design.

The four-tiered cake was absolutely extraordinary, with blue and white marbled frosting, floral embellishments and accented with gold flakes and a patterned icing overlay. Next to the cake, there were matching blue frosted, heart-shaped cookies with gold flakes on a ceramic white platter.

Once the toasts were made and the cake was cut, the couple wrapped up the shoot by getting cozy on a plush, navy velvet sofa next to a stunning piano. This shoot’s timeless feel and classic influence gave us all the inspiration for an elegant winter soiree!
